I first want to say thank-you to all of the brethren and mentors that attended the Grandmaster’s one day conferral on August 16th, if our calculations were correct Cherrydale Lodge brethren composed just about ten percent of the overall turnout. I hope that all of our candidates are excited to begin their labors in Freemasonry.

     Please mark your calendars for our annual Ladies Night celebration in September; an invitation to the event should be attached. This event is one of our most meaningful gatherings to celebrate the contribution made to Freemasonry by the ladies in our lives, and more especially to honor the widows of Cherrydale Lodge.      Also, at our last stated we discussed several proposed changes to our by-laws. I highly encourage all brethren to inquire as to the exact nature of the changes to be made and provide myself and the officers of the lodge with your input.

     In closing brethren, I hope that everyone had an opportunity this summer to relax and spend valuable time with family and friends, for the year is only half over, and there is plenty more work to be done!!!
