From the East

Dear Brethren:

It’s time for spring cleaning !!!

Usually, when we speak of spring cleaning, it eludes to dusting and sweeping away all the mess that old man winter has brought on us. However, for a Lodge of Masons it has much more meaning, not only it is time for us to begin the planned restoration work of our building, but it’s also time to dust off our Aprons and begin the true work of Freemasonry.

The spring and following months afford us an excellent opportunity to work not only in the lodge, but in our community. Our Committee on Public Ceremony is searching as we speak, for local events in and around Cherrydale Lodge. I encourage all of our brethren to assist with this endeavor to raise the state of awareness of Freemasonry in our community.

To ensure you are aware of all the lodge activities that will be taking place in the coming months I encourage you, if you have not already, to register on our lodge web forum at www.42forums.com. This forum was created to assist in effective communication between the brethren of our lodge, let’s make use of it !!!

Finally brethren, I would ask those of you who we have not seen lately to make an honest effort to attend one of our upcoming stated communications. A lot of exciting things are happening at Cherrydale, and a lot of decisions are being made, come and be a part of it.

Fraternally yours,

John Patrick Clair
Worshipful Master
