TRESTLEBOARD
December, 2006

From the East

Dear Brethren:

This is my last Trestleboard for the 2006 Masonic Year. Cherrydale Lodge has gained many members this year and this past month we have passed 6 new Fellowcrafts and have 3 candidates scheduled for their Entered Apprentice Degree. With the forthcoming election and installation of new Lodge Officers in December, there will be a generational change in Cherrydale Officers.

At our First Stated Communication in November Most Worshipful Stewart Miner discussed and provided his recommendations on how the Lodge should vote on their acceptance for the forthcoming resolutions to be consider in the Annual Grand Lodge meeting in Richmond. As recommended by MWOR Stu all four resolutions were defeated. Cherrydale Lodge had 15 representatives at the Grand Lodge Communication.

Please consider joining the Masonic Benefit Association and also consider becoming a Life Member in Perpetuity.

December 7 Stated:
Conduct the Lodge Memorial Service to honor our Masonic Brothers who have moved to the Celestial Temple Not Made With Hands. Seeing that the date is 7 December, I believe we should also remember Peal Harbor.

Conduct Lodge Elections for the year 2007 Officers.

December 21 Stated:
Close the Lodge Of Sorrow
Close the Stated Meeting
Open installation for the 2007 Cherrydale Officers

During the past 2 years Cherrydale Lodge has made a tremendous growth in membership and with the work done by our current members and the enthusiasm of our new members Cherrydale Lodge should have a great 2007.

Fraternally yours,

Richard Earle Robinson,
Worshipful Master
