Dear Brethren:
 
 
  As I write this, we conferred an Entered Apprentice degree and have a Fellowcraft degree scheduled for 21 April followed by a Master Mason Degree on 3 May. All brethren are encouraged to attend and to support both our cast and new candidates.

Cherrydale Lodge is responsible for the Canteen at the Blood Drive on 29 April.

We regret to inform you that Worshipful Don Strehle’s mother passed away in April.

Our First Stated, 4 May, will feature Doctor Varghase who will be speaking on the topic of Pandemic Flu.

On Saturday, 13 May, we are scheduled for a guided tour of the Southern Jurisdiction Scottish Rite on 16th Street, Washington, DC. Meet at the Lodge for car pooling at 8:30 AM for the tour beginning at 9:30 AM. Families are invited.

Our 18 May Stated Communication will be combined with Sharon Lodge. Dinner will be served at 6:30 with Lodge at 7:30 at Cherrydale.

Previously, I circulated information on the Northern Virginia Masonic Benefit Association. All members of Cherrydale Lodge are encouraged to consider this worthwhile effort to benefit our bereaved families.

Young new members might want to consider a Life Membership in Perpetuity, after paying 16 years dues in advance you become a Life Member in Perpetuity in our lodge. The Grand Lodge will continue paying your annual dues throughout your lifetime and after you have enter the Temple not made with hands.

1 June Stated - Brent Morru will discuss his most recent book.
15 June Stated - Worshipful Reverend F. Reed Brown, Past Master Cherrydale Lodge, Grand Organist for The Grand Lodge Of Virginia and The Southern Jurisdiction Scottish Rite Masons will conduct the Saints John’s ceremony.
17 August Stated - We are planning a Past Grand Masters Night to honor our own Most Worshipful Steward Wilson Miner. We are inviting other Grand Masters to sit in the Lodge seats for the evening.
15 Sep - Ladies Night
