   I would like to thank my installation team:
Headed by Most Worshipful Stewart Wilson Miner; Past Master Cherrydale Lodge 1965, Past Grand Master Of Virginia 1974, Past Grand Secretary For the District Of Columbia Masons 1949-2005, Knight commander Of The Court Of Honor 1983, and Grand High Priest Virginia Royal Arch Masons 1995-1996.

Worship Harry A Walch; Past Master Cherrydale Lodge, 1991, Installing Marshal. Wor Harry is traveling from Florida to participate in this installation.
Worshipful Arthur J. Leavenworth; Past Master Cherrydale Lodge 1995, Assistant Installing Marshal. Wor Art is Traveling from Dayton, Virginia in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.

Worshipful William Edward Clark, Past Master Columbia Lodge 2004, Worshipful Master Columbia Lodge 2005; Installing Secretary.

I would like to again welcome all our new Masons raised under the leadership of Worshipful Travis Sanchez Hilliard Past Master of Cherrydale Lodge 2003 and 2005. In addition he left numerous Candidates for 2006 Lodge to complete their initiation Ceremonies.

It is hoped that some of our new masons will be active in the Lodge and learn various part for accomplishing the initiation parts in order Cherrydale Lodge will be able to fill most of the parts to welcome our future members. Also by knowing these various parts we will be able to provide assistance to our Brother Lodges. The Lodges in the 54th Masonic District work as a team.

We are still developing a program schedule for 2006 and I am very open for suggestions which may be accomplished in either an open lodge or closed lodge. Currently on the upcoming schedule we have:
—5 January 2006 Lodge rededication Worshipful Don Strehle
—19 January we are planning to accomplish a fellow Craft. We have numerous candidates waiting and we can only do a maximum of 3 each ceremony.
—28 January Most Worshipful Glover Hunter Jones Grand Master Of Virginia Masons 2006 will be making his Official Visit to the Northern Virginia Masons (Districts 1A, 1B, and 54). The Official Visit, Dinner,and Reception will be at the Scottish Rite Temple on Braddock Road in Alexandria.
—2 February Stated Communication, Program to be determined.
—16 February stated Communication there is a Possible Speaker from NASA who will speak on the International space Institute. Open Lodge Ladies and children will be invited
Current Major Long Term Plans are:
—6 April Senior Wardens Night. In the future we will also have a Junior Wardens Night and a Deacons Night
—15 September Ladies Night at the Army & Navy Arlington Country Club
—6 October Founders Night, we normally invite a Grand Lodge Officer and make our annual donation to the Grand Lodge for our Masonic Home in Richmond Virginia. In the past we have always had enough donations (in excess of $2,500.00) to have a memorial plaque in memory of one of our brothers placed on the “Tree Of Life” located in the Masonic Home.
