From the East

Dear Brethren:

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your generous contributions to the Masonic Home on our annual Founders Day. Because of you, we were able to purchase a leaf on the Tree of Life in memory of Right Worshipful James Manley Pollard, PDDGM. Jim was a true pillar in Cherrydale and in the 54th District.

My brethren, as this year is winding down, I want to truly thank all of you for your support this year. Cherrydale Lodge has come a long and way in a very short time. Keep up the good work.

At our November 3rd stated communication, we will be conferring the Entered Apprentice Degree upon two candidates.

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving at our November 17th stated communication and we will have an open forum on various Masonic topics. I hope you will all make an effort to be present at these last few meeting of this year.

At our December 1st stated communication, we will conduct elections for the 2006 officers. The Senior Warden will send out an letter letting you know the date of our installation.

We will have a trip to the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite on Saturday, December 3rd at 10 AM. We will depart from Cherrydale at 9:15 AM. Wives, family and guest are invited. Cherrydale will not provide transportation.

Fraternally yours,

Travis Hilliard,
Worshipful Master
