March has been a full month for us. At out first stated in March we had a very interesting discussion on various topics concerning Freemasonry—some might consider them controversial, but everyone kept an open mind and I believe everyone that was in attendance received more light in Masonry. We were please to have doctor John K. Young, Ph.D. give us a very interesting presentation on the Knights Templar and the connection between them and ancient astronomy and the Freemasons. There were about 40 in attendance with a few brethren from other districts in the commonwealth.

     I am very proud to announce that we have a new master mason at Cherrydale; his name is Jorge I. Franchi.  Brother Franchi is the Chief Financial Officer for the Supreme Council 33° of the Southern Jurisdiction. We look forward to having Brother Franchi as an active member of Cherrydale. There were many members of the Supreme Council in attendance for this degree including Ronald Seale, the Sovereign Grand Commander.

     On April 4th, We will have a joint Master Mason's degree with Sharon Lodge at their Temple at 7:00 PM. At our first stated on April 7th, we have Right Worshipful Edward Cohen as our guest speaker. Officers attire is Tuxedo. AT our Second stated we will have another open discussion concerning any topic in Masonry that the Brethren would like to talk about.
