Message From the East

Brethren,

My year in the East was enjoyable, and I hope that I benefited Masonry in general and this Lodge in particular during my tenure.  However, my enjoyment was overshadowed by the loss of John Kenneth Gott, our Lodge Secretary.

Our Lodge lost a dear friend and wise council with his passing.  We were very fortunate that Philip Graves stepped in and helped our Lodge as Secretary and I am grateful for this assistance to our Lodge and me.

We raised several new brethren in our Lodge this year and I am looking forward to seeing their participation in our Lodge so that Masonry will remain strong in Arlington.

A special thanks from the East is given to Philip Graves, Donald Strehle, Travis Hilliard, Dick Robinson, John Frank, Robert Rench, Jr., Cameron Bruce Palmer, Howard Sobel, Irving Gilcrease, and other members of our Lodge and members of other Lodges in the 54th Masonic District.

Thank you for your assistance to me this past year.

Fraternally,

John R. Stone,
Worshipful Master
